In partnership with Sensosciences, which selected the project and the young participants in the exchange, CIRASTI Occitanie was able to participate in the 28th International Congress of Youth and Science.

These young Sétois-es were able to present their project on Piments before the other delegations, in a format slightly different from the stand since the format of the Congress is the official presentation in front of the public with video projector, a presentation to be made in English! An exercise they had to overcome from day one!

The stay was punctuated with visits to discover the rich past of this city, whose most famous monument is the Pilar Basilica and whose legacy dates back to the time of Roman antiquity.

The young people were also able to visit the laboratories of the Scientific University of Zaragoza and that of the Torre de Agua, dating from the Universal Exhibition of 2008.

To enhance the exchange, the intercultural evening took place with the presentation of the different countries and its culinary specialties! The opportunity for our young Setois-es to challenge other nationalities in a contest of tasting of peppers, tasting that created a warm atmosphere for all brave and courageous ssss being tried ...

We are pleased to have been able, again this year, to contribute to the realization of these European exchanges, to see friendships forged, discoveries, exchanges and new experiences realized.
These moments of conviviality and interculturality around a theme such as scientific projects are a real opportunity to develop values such as respect, tolerance, curiosity and citizenship.
Hope to continue next year!
