«Light on a Dark Science Woman»
In Europe, and elsewhere, women scientists are less numerous and less visible. Although they have always played a decisive role in scientific progress, they often remain less known and renowned than their male colleagues.

To combat this lack of knowledge among women scientists, but also to remind children and young people that science-related occupations are accessible to all·you·s regardless of gender, background or social background.

We invite schools and recreation centres to take up the matter and to create posters with their class or groups representing the portrait of an unknown scientific woman.

The drawings received and selected will be posted on 11/02 and exhibited for the Exposcience Occitanie 2021 at the APSAR from 31/05 to 14/06/2022.

Format: A3
Public: 6 to 18 years of age for primary or secondary schools and leisure centres
Criteria:
– 1 portrait per poster
– the poster must contain some key elements of the life of the scientist, these elements can fit into the graphic
– the poster can be made individually or in group (indicate first names/age/structure by post)

Women scientists can be contemporary or not, European or not, you have a choice!

To your pencils, felts, paintings and other weapons of mass creativity!

Deadline for submission (in .pdf/.jpg or .png format): Before 15/01/2022
