XXIX International Congress of Young Researchers

ICIJA organise this year and for the first time its LIVE congress via an online platform.

This congress will take place from 6 to 9 April 2021 and will be the occasion for the UPS in Space project to present their observatory project.

Friday 9/04 from 11.25 a.m. to 11.35 a.m.Project presentation « 100% Student Astronomic Observatory » by UPS in Space, student association, by Hadrian Dupuis and Daniel Chrétien.

The Observatory

« Even today, access to astronomy remains limited and poorly democratised, while the general population and especially young people are very sensitive and curious. The acquisition of knowledge in astronomy is mainly done through media or literary media, but far too few people have the opportunity to discover it through direct contact or practice. The action of UPS in Space is to propose to the public to understand astronomy by practicing and through scientific observations and mediations. The Observatory is the best instrument to realize this dream. »
