Back on the Occitanie Exposcience that took place on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 June at the APSAR and the Amouroux Neighbourhood House in Toulouse.
We welcomed 230 young people who presented 28 projects over 2 days! These young people between the ages of 8 and 25 from Haute-Garonne, Tarn, Lot, Aude and also Luxembourg, Spain and Germany (!) presented their project to the school and general public, projects of great diversity and high quality!
A diversity of projects on robotics, ecology with water filters, environmentally friendly engines or the manufacture of Kombucha-based eco-leather, health with the experiences of iGEM on allergies, observation and construction around nature with a shared garden project led by primary and extremely diverse in its applications ranging from phyto-purification to the knowledge of plants and the question of waste (plastics in particular)!

Finally this year, following the CNRS and CNES programmes « Lift your Blob » then the CNRS program « Behind the Blob, the search », it was obviously the star of this edition with 6 projects entirely dedicated to it with projects from the department from primary to college to the Institute of Young Blinds of Toulouse that had realized a tangible blob !

In addition, we had the honour and the pleasure of being able to count on Ms. Audrey Dussutour, Director of Research at the CNRS, ethologist and blob specialist as Godmother of Exposcience 2022.

Presented at the official visit, she stayed the day to see all the projects and chat with the audience who came especially to meet her!
The official visit also allowed Isabelle Ferrer, Mayor of Quartier, to discover the various projects presented. All the official members then played the interview game by going to Gilles Teston's microphone for Radio Francas.

At the same time, there were about 10 workshops conducted by members and partners of the collective to host fun workshops on science, technology and the environment.

Discover the migratory fish of the Garonne with Migado or program robots with Léo Lagrange, through workshops on nitrogen, arthropods, mathematics, brain, radio waves, heritage, plants and birds!
Friday also concluded with an evening of observation of the sky and the moon with the inhabitants of the district animated by the Francas and the Social Center of theASSQOT. An observation that delighted large and small who were many to have never been able to observe the sky with such instruments!

The next day was also punctuated by the Cie ça Gazouille show, the interactive tale on biodiversity: the Abracadabrile! A story of pirates and animals facing an environment that is deteriorating ... The children and parents were a 30th to enjoy this dark show in the garden of Love.

We would like to thank the APSAR and its entire team of employees and volunteers who were present to welcome us and support us throughout the Exposcience. Also all the staff of the Maison de Quartier Amouroux and the Accueil Jeunes who were also well present logistically and humanly.

Thanks to all the members and partners of CIRASTI Occitanie who each year allow to have a rich and exciting program for young and old people eager for knowledge and curious about everything! Thanks also for all their logistical help and energy!
Finally, thanks to all the children, the young people and their accompanier-ice-s, teacher-es, parents, animator-ice-s who have put their energy, motivation and passion to realize these projects and make us discover them!
To finish some excerpts from the Golden Book to discover 🙂
