The aim of Mobisciences, an Erasmus+ project led by the Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg and in partnership with the other four countries, is to develop scientific culture among young people from 12 to 25 through these exchanges.
Exposcience Occitanie 2022 which took place in Toulouse for 5 days of cultural programme and exhibition from 8 to 12 June 2022 hosted the Winners of the National Jonk Fuerscher Competition as well as young people from Spain and Germany in the framework of the Mobisciences programme: this was an opportunity for everyone to present their scientific projects in a context of international exchange and cultural discovery.

For 5 days, the Luxembourg, Spanish and German delegations were able to present their ideas to their French counterparts but also to the authorities of Toulouse City Hall at an official reception in Toulouse. « Hall of Illustrators » at the Town Hall of the Capitol under the eye of a marble statue depicting Pierre de Fermat well reassured of his succession!

In this festive setting, which is conducive to sharing, our young people have been able to forge new friendships, go on a journey of discovery of new scientific disciplines by visiting the City of Space, the National Museum of Natural History and participating in many introductory workshops in astronomy or on the sustainable management of natural and energy resources, especially at a world café on the IPCC and their expectations for a sustainable future.

This stay ended with an evening at the Observatoire de Jolimont where they were able to observe the astronomical instruments preserved there. We are very pleased to have been able to host this event for a new edition after 2 years in distanciel, we also deeply regret that for visa reasons the Moroccan delegation could not join us. Wishing that this project will continue for a long time and that curiosity, sharing and youth will live!
