On Thursday, 27 October 2022, the Day of the Leisure Nature took place at the Forest of Buzet (Buzet s/ Tarn). This day, co-organized by CIRASTI Occitanie, its members and the Departmental Council of Haute-Garonne, welcomed 140 children from 6 leisure centres in the region coming from Haute-Garonne, Tarn, Lot and Gers.
These children took up the challenges proposed by the members of the collective upstream of this day and then came to present them with the program challenges on bats, trees, plants and aquatic biodiversity proposed by 5 associations such as Léo Lagrange, DIRE Environnement, Les Petits Débrouillards, MIGADO and Radis Sound.
The morning was dedicated to the discovery of the forest with the mediators-ice-s of the Maison de la Biodiversité/CD31 and their activities such as Nature through the Sens, Animals of the forest, discovery of the forest in Robinson mode and a Nest, an egg, a bird or, for those who arrived a little late a Radio Chouette activity on the screams of animals, an activity on the biodiversity of the Garonne or a walk in the forest with DIRE.
The afternoon was devoted to presenting the challenges of children and to carrying out collaborative challenges on their subject. The final restitution was in the presence of Mr Didier Cujives, elected on CD 31 who came to admire the child labour and encourage them to preserve the forest like a treasure!
