Wednesday, 17 May
13:30-16:00
Maurice Faure University Centre
46000 CAHORS
The Exposcience is an event bringing together young people from 5 to 18 years having carried out a project with a scientific approach on themes STEAM (Science, Technology, Environment, Arts and Mathematics).
This call is addressed to the project individual or collective, school or non-school.
The purpose of this event is to enhance the value of young people while allowing them to discover, observe and share with others about their project, through workshops or meetings with scientists, engineers or members of associations.

Registration requirements:
– have a project with young people aged 5 to 18 (individual or group, school or non-school)
There is no imposed subject!
The project arises from the questions and desires of young people. The most important thing is to implement a scientific and educational approach that will combine pleasure, curiosity and creativity.
It can be an experimental project (how does an aircraft fly?), a technical production (build a robot), a documentary project (how did prehistoric men live?)
Cross eyes: Multidisciplinary approaches, opening up science to other cultural practices, are encouraged.
Lets artists able to combine the laws of physics with the fairytale of a magic show!
– registration at the 1/2 day
– complete the registration form before 03/05/2023 : https://forms.gle/1ogU4q5LXLEVVGv7
Exposure conditions:
– a stand (table, chairs, grill), possibility of electric access, wifi and external access
– no limit in number of young people and/or children, no competition
– Access to possible workshops according to registration (Fablab – Canopé, Carrefour des Arts et des Sciences, les Francas, La Locollective)
Participation in an Exposcience for young people is not limited to the exhibition of projects because they can also invest in the Media (radio, video, journal of the Exposcience, social networks) to develop and feed!
Women & Science researchers and the Midi-Pyrénées Observatory can make themselves available to help you with the scientific support of your project.
