Relais Exposciences Day, held in collaboration with Radio Francas on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Lycée La Découverte in Decazeville. The aim of this event was to encourage exchanges between professionals at different levels (technical and engineering), from various fields of biotechnology, from the public and private sectors, as well as students.
During the first session, Bastien Enjalbert, Julien Boucault, Florence Auguy, Marion Allaoua, Thomas Bérard, Marion Bricard (all former students of the Lycée La Découverte) and Julie Batut, research director at the CNRS, answered questions from students in the 1st STL class and 2nd year students of BTS Biotech. At the end of this session, first-time students had the opportunity to exchange with BTS students and benefit from their experience.
The second session saw the arrival of Florent Arnauduc, a technician at the CRCT, who shared his experience with the 2nd year students of BTS Biotech, 1st year of BTS Biotech, as well as with those of Terminale STL. Students from 2nd ETO Biotech also presented their soil remediation project in the Decazeville area.
This event created valuable links and nurtured the curiosity of 54 students. We would like to warmly thank Nicolas Renaud of Radio Francas, Stéphanie Mas, as well as all the speakers, without whom this day would not have been possible.
