Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30, the Centre de Loisir du Petit Capitole welcomed the Occitanie Exposcience for the second time!
18 projects were presented for this 2018 edition, with honour, regional and international youth aged 6 to 25. Thanks to the Erasmus+ Mobisciences 2018 project, young people from Spain, Morocco and Luxembourg were present, but also from Aveyron, Lot, Hérault, Tarn-et-Garonne, Tarn and of course Haute-Garonne.
150 young people were present with projects on various topics such as astronomy, robotics, biology, mathematics or chemistry, etc.
In addition, a wide range of workshops were offered by the members and partners of the collective for visitors and young exhibitors of the Exposcience with a total of 14 scientific and technical workshops, environmental education or meetings with researchers!
About 400 children from schools, colleges and lycées, as well as especially leisure centres in Toulouse Métropole were present to discover the science projects and workshops offered.
The official visit brought together many representatives of the institutions as well as our official patrons, Marie-France Barthet, elected to the Occitanie Region, president of the Higher Education Commission and Sylvie Vauclair, astro-physicist and professor emeritus of Paul Sabatier University.

The exhibition ended with a graduation ceremony at the Capitol in the presence of Mr François Cholet, Deputy Mayor and Mr David Tressières, President of CIRASTI – Exposciences in Occitanie.

We would like to thank all member associations and structures as partners for their contribution to this edition of Exposcience Occitanie.
We are proud to be able to count on you to carry out this event that allows so many children and young people to show their projects, share them and live them with their peers as with their elders. We will continue to value science and its contributions to young people, especially through popular education, which are values dear to the collective.
Thanks to the teachers, facilitators and facilitators who decide to work on scientific projects and who often involve bodies and souls to enable young people to value their knowledge, make them travel and grow at the same time.
Thanks also to the volunteers without whom nothing would be possible!
